Jozi Tri 2025 team results

Jozi Tri 2025

We had a small team at Jozi Tri this past weekend, but wow did they perform! So proud of all our athletes. 💪

Sprint Race: 🏆 Nicholas Horne took the overall win -- making it 2/2 victories over the past two weeks! 🥉 Sharvani claimed a spot on the podium as the 3rd female. 🥇 Marthie smashed it, outperforming her category and winning her age group.

Standard Race: 🥇 Karla won the female category, also marking back-to-back overall wins over the past two weekends. This new standard-distance event is looking great for her! 7️⃣ JP finished 7th in his category. 🥇 Cheriesa won her age group. 4️⃣ Bianca finished 4th in her age group. 🏆 Gustaff took the win in his category.

What an incredible weekend of racing across both distances! 🔥👏 Every finish line crossed is proof that hard work, consistency, and belief in yourself pay off. Keep pushing, keep striving, and let every race fuel your next victory! 💥

Riana Robertson coaching at the Olympics in 2024

Olympic Coach 2024

In 2024, Endurance Training Hub’s Head Coach, Riana Robertson, served as coach for the South African Olympic Triathlon Team -- an inspiring milestone for our community and a testament to her athlete‑centered approach. From heat adaptation and course reconnaissance to precision tapering and race‑day execution, Riana’s plan blended science, experience, and the human side of high performance.

With over 22 years in triathlon as both an elite athlete and coach, Riana’s coaching is grounded in clarity and communication. She tailors the program to the person -- aligning training load, technique work, and recovery with each athlete’s physiology and life demands. Her calm presence and clear race strategies helped athletes stay composed under Olympic pressure, converting preparation into performance when it mattered most.

This Olympic chapter is much more than a single event -- it raises the bar for our coaching standards and athlete development pathways at ETH. Whether you’re learning to swim, targeting your first triathlon, or chasing a world‑class result, the same principles apply: purposeful training, honest feedback, and sustainable progress. Or, as Riana sums it up, “Love what I do and do what I love.”
